One could say graphic design is my bread and butter, and painting is my champagne and cavier.

About my paintings: People regular refer to them as mystical, magical, surreal, desert landscapes. I like to embed symbolism into my paintings that evoke feelings in the viewer on a subconscious level. I use a wide variety of colors including iridescent, interference, fluorescent and metallic. I also alternate layers between transparent gels, varnishes and color, so that the viewer can actually look into the painting. Many of the colors I use can't be reproduced on a computer monitor (RGB) and even less so in the printing process (CMYK), being out of gamut, to use graphic design lingo. In other words, when viewed in-person my paintings have the depth, luminosity, color and detail that can't be achieved in any other medium.

Painting Rates: An unframed 8 x 10 inch painting is $75.00, and larger sizes have slightly larger prices. Shipping is additional and varies according to size. Paintings are available with or without frames; however; most clients prefer to choose their own frames, and this also makes shipping safer and more economical. Also to prevent damage, large paintings may be removed from the stretcher and shipped rolled in a tube.
